Synopsis

Guts, a former mercenary known as the Black Swordsman, is out for revenge. After a tumultuous childhood, he finally finds a charismatic leader he respects and believes he can trust, only to have everything fall apart in a horrifying betrayal. Now marked for death by demonic forces, he travels across a dark, medieval-inspired world, battling monstrous entities and human adversaries alike to survive and seek vengeance against his former friend.
