Synopsis
Ichigo Kurosaki is a high school student with the ability to see ghosts. His life is drastically changed when he meets Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper who is injured while defending Ichigo's family from a monstrous lost soul known as a Hollow. To save his family, Ichigo absorbs Rukia's powers and becomes a Substitute Soul Reaper, tasked with protecting the living from Hollows and guiding departed souls to the afterlife.
