Synopsis

After a ten-year quest to defeat the Demon King, the near-immortal elf mage Frieren outlives her human comrades and realizes she squandered her chance to truly know them. Following the peaceful death of the hero Himmel, a regretful Frieren embarks on a quiet new journey retracing her old steps. Accompanied by a new generation of apprentices, she seeks to better understand human emotions, collect mundane magical spells, and appreciate the fleeting beauty of mortal life.
